Pivovar u Svaté studny Domažlice
Pivovar U Svaté studny v Domažlicích, známý také jako obecní pivovar, hrál významnou roli v historii domažlického pivovarnictví. Jeho počátky sahají do období po udělení várečného práva městu, což pravděpodobně nastalo již při jeho založení ve druhé polovině 13. století. V roce 1895 město opustilo původní obecní pivovar U Svaté studny v Poděbradově ulici a zahájilo výstavbu nového pivovaru na Týnském předměstí při starší sladovně. Tento krok byl součástí snahy městské rady převzít veškerou výrobu piva od měšťanů a modernizovat pivovarnictví v Domažlicích.
Přesné datum založení pivovaru U Svaté studny v Domažlicích není známé, ale jeho historie sahá pravděpodobně do středověku, kdy město získalo várečné právo. The Brewery at the Holy Well in Domažlice, also known as the municipal brewery, played an important role in the history of Domažlice brewing. Its origins date back to the period after the town was granted brewing rights, which probably occurred when it was founded in the second half of the 13th century. In 1895, the town abandoned the original municipal brewery at the U Svaté studny in Poděbradova Street and began construction of a new brewery in the Týnské předměstí neighborhood next to an older malthouse. This step was part of the town council's efforts to take over all beer production from the townspeople and modernize brewing in Domažlice.
